Open Positions

Account Director

The Account Director is responsible for generating incremental revenue through a named account base combined with new logo outreach across North America. The primary responsibilities for this role will include solution-based consultative sell, contract lifecycle management, renewals, and customer referrals. The Account Director will carry an individual quota and will be responsible for retiring that quota monthly. Candidate will have a demonstrable understanding of the telecommunications industry and must always display the highest integrity. The Account Director is expected to be fully capable with all communications internal and external to the organization, and exhibit strong funnel management, forecasting, and quota attainment discipline.

Core Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify new opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Maintain existing revenue and reduce churn
  • Navigate aggressive targets to grow company value while acting as a strong customer advocate
  • Exhibit diplomacy in building revenue streams that are mutually profitable for the company and solve the customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams including commercials, operations, customer experience, and marketing to generate and close opportunities
  • Successfully prospect new opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategy
  • Account planning, revenue forecasting, and opportunity management
  • Participate in trade shows and local area networking events
  • Manage CRM discipline for a high volume of activity
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Strong understanding of the UCaaS, CCaaS, PaaS, data center, and telecommunications
  • Minimum 2 years of proven success in solution-based selling, preferably in the technology sector
  • Disciplined in the use of CRM tools for forecasting and sales activity tracking
  • Windows PC experience and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • West coast location (preferred)

Corporate Development Associate

The Corporate Development & Finance Associate will play a critical role supporting Bluewave’s strategy around M&A, integration, and general corporate analytics. The Corporate Development Associate’s key responsibilities will include building/maintaining financial models, analyzing diligence information, creating presentations, and assisting in all other areas of general analytics as required by the organization. This role reports to the VP of Corporate Development & Finance and is an in-person role, based in our Farmington, UT location.

Core Responsibilities

M&A Analysis / Pipeline Development / Deal Execution

  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate M&A opportunities
  • Complete all financial analysis, financial modeling & company valuation work on M&A transactions
  • Participate in all areas of due diligence (with both internal and external parties)
  • Develop detailed presentations on M&A targets for executive leadership review
  • Track pipeline activity for executive leadership review
  • Monitor and track relevant M&A activity in the industry
  • Support post-close activities such as integration, adjustments / true-up calculations, transition services agreements, etc.

General Finance and Analysis

  • Maintain and update the Bluewave corporate financial operating/forecast model(s) for use with third-party lenders and internal reporting
  • Assist in preparation of treasury forecast and capital planning
  • Prepare board and executive-level presentation materials
  • Lead special projects as directed by the CEO, CFO and VP of Corp Dev
  • Additional general and ad-hoc analytics as required by the organization

Qualifications & Experience

  • Energetic, intellectually curious, strong analytical reasoning and organizational skills, detail-oriented self-starter
  • Advanced experience with PowerPoint and Excel; database experience a plus
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, and collaborative work approach from peer level up to executives
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial documents, business plans and drawing conclusions based on research and due diligence
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at a time including internal and external stakeholders

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field with a track record of strong academic and extracurricular performance
  • Two to five years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, corporate development/strategy, Big 4 accounting
