Challenge

Bluewave was given the goal to provide the business with a single, common, cloud-based communications and collaboration suite.

Unfortunately, they had some bad business experiences with one of the cloud-based providers they inherited via acquisition. They engaged Bluewave to assist in the search for a new provider that would service them as an enterprise, rather than a collection of small offices.

They were seeking a platform for their 250 facility-based and mobile workforce that could provide voice communications, mobility, SMS/MMS, facsimile, screen sharing and conferencing.

They also sought to eliminate costly communication charges between the United States and Canada and provide every user with a common, easy-to-use communications suite. Enhanced levels of reporting from the platform, as well as a consolidated billing model for services were also new needs.

Solution

This client chose a solution from Fuze to provide their communications platform for the future. The Fuze team was able to deliver on an enterprise scale yet understand that a collection of small offices was going to take a while to roll out.

They were also in the process of rolling out other enterprise platforms including Microsoft Office 365. The Fuze suite of tools was designed specifically to take advantage of Outlook and OneDrive functionality, improving the overall adoption and ease-of-use of the platform.

Results

Bluewave provided project management services and aided with issue tracking during the entire deployment process. Additionally, we provided assistance with the design of the solution, advice on overcoming technical challenges, and onsite support at the headquarters site at go live to assist with any last-minute changes necessary for a successful launch of the new platform.

Finally, Bluewave provided hands-on training with the leadership of the company to improve user adoption of the platform. Our client was operational on the platform by November of the same year.
